Lackluster Lashes Love Latisse

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was an easier way to get thicker eyelashes? Well, there certainly is one and it is called Latisse.
Latisse is a prescription drug approved by the FDA in 2008 to use on eyelashes. It is made from a chemical called bimatoprost that is used to treat glaucoma. Latisse is very effective for people with thin eyelashes.

USING LATISSE TO GROW EYELASHES

You need to apply Latisse using an applicator that comes with the medicine. For each application, you need to use a new applicator or else you can risk contamination in the eyes. Ensure that the applicator doesn’t come into contact with any surface, including your hands.

Before applying Latisse, remove all traces of your eye makeup. If you use contact lenses, you need to remove them as well before applying Latisse. You can, however, wear your contact lenses again after a gap of at least 15 minutes. Clean your eyelids properly before every Latisse application.

Use the applicator to dab the solution on your upper lash line. You need not use it on your lower lash line. Through the blinking process, Latisse automatically drenches the lower lashes with the medicine on the upper lashes.

Use the solution sparingly. If the excess liquid drenches other parts of your face, it can encourage hair growth on those areas as well. You can blot any excess liquid that could seep into the nearby skin.

For the best results, you need to use Latisse daily for at least two months. Your doctor may recommend its use for longer depending on your requirements. After two to three months, your doctor may lower its use to once every two days or so.

EXPECTATIONS AND RESULTS

Latisse can help thicken your eyelashes by increasing the growth phase of each lash and encouraging the growth of your eyelashes. The medicine will first act to lengthen the lashes. After some time has passed, you will be able to see visible improvements in terms of thickness as well.

After a couple of months have passed, you can expect to see thicker and longer eyelashes. It can also darken your lashes for a more bold look.

The results provided by the treatment requires ongoing use. If you stop using it after a few months or weeks, your lashes are likely to return to their previous state. Once you have achieved thicker eyelash growth, it is important to continue using the medicine to retain your beautiful lashes.

Using latisse is a safe way to improve your eyelashes. You’ll no longer have to struggle with putting on fake eyelashes because the end-result will be your own, beautifully thick eyelashes.

If you have any eye infections or conjunctivitis, your doctor will ask you to wait before beginning your treatment.
